Seiken Densetsu 3 / Trials of Mana -- Class Balance

Major update means you (the player) may have to restart the game from the
beginning due to changes, depending on who you chose in the beginning, what
classes you changed them to, and what your current stats and skills are.

Minor update means you don't need to restart the game (relative to the previous
version of Class Balance).  Even if there seems to be changes (skill target,
stats, etc), you can resolve this by leveling up, or possibly re-equiping any of
the equipments.

The change logs are relative to the previous version.


Change Logs:

3.5 (Major)
 - Updated Stats patch to 2.0.
   - Minor changes to the final classes of Duran D and Hawk D.
 - Updated Equipments patch to 1.6.
   - Duran's Red-heat Shield and Angela's Fireblaze gets Berserk SE immunity.
   - Duran's Fencer's Armband loses Berserk SE immunity, but gains EVA+3.
 - Duran DL learns Axe Bomber.
 - Hawk LD learns Cutter Missile instead of Axe Bomber.
 - Hawk DL learns Blow Needles instead of Cutter Missile, and does not learn
   Speed Up.
 - Hawk DD learns Speed Up instead of Blow Needle.
 - Angela LL learns Thunderbolt and Blaze Wall instead of Explode and Stun Wind.
 - Angela LD learns Explode and Stun Wind instead of Thunderbolt and Blaze Wall.
 - Lise's L classes learn Air Blast instead of Unicorn Head.
 - Lise's D classes learn Fireball instead of Air Blast.
 - Semi-fixes a bug where petrify SE from enemy's Stone Cloud not working.
 - Made Sleep SE more useful by making almost all normal enemies and even some
   bosses vulnerable to Sleep SE.
 - Body Change costs less MP.
 - Sleep Flower costs less MP.
 - Demon Breath's element is restored back to the original (Fire).
 - Poison Breath's MP cost is restored back to the original (3 MP).
 - Blow Needles costs more MP, but its power increased.
 - Jutsus use AGI instead of INT.
 - Hand Axe causes EVA Down.
 - Cutter Missile's power and MP cost increased.
 - Axe Bomber's power decreased, but it causes DEF down.
 - Double Spell's power decreased, but it causes M.Atk Down and Snowman SE.
 - Rainbow Dust causes HP Up in addition to TransShape.
 - Changed the power and/or effects of some enemy skills.
 - Changed the stat requirements for learning skills for some characters.
 - More enemy skills inflict Berserk SE.
 - Other minor changes.

3.4 (Major -- only if you learned Grand Slam from the previous patch)
 - Added "Higher DEF Buff Cap" from praetarius5018's bugfix patch (this won't
   affect the people who use the bugfix patch -- this is for the ToM players who
   can't use the bugfix patch).
 - Renamed "Grand Slam" to "Whirlwind", and decreased its power and MP Cost.
 - Decreased Ghost's revival HP.
 - Some enemy skills (i.e. Heat Beam and Demon Scream) inflict "Berserk" status
   effect.  It can be cured by Puipui Grass and its equivalent items/skills,
   just like all other SEs.
 - Other minor changes, even to Stats and Equipments patches.

3.3 (minor)
 - Updated Stats patch to 1.9.
   - Switched Duran's base Max MP and Kevin's base Max MP to make Duran have
     higher Max MP than Kevin.
   - Fixed Hawk's massive HP increase between Lv55 and Lv56 (and on).
   - Increased Angela's base Max HP (slightly higher than Carlie).
   - Decreased Carlie's base Max MP.
   - Minor adjustments to base Max HP and/or Max MP for most characters.
 - Added "Consistent INT and SPI".
   - INT affects attack magic power and Max MP, and SPI affects magic defense.
     - Flying items/skills still use AGI, and Heal Light still uses SPI.
 - Made some of Darkshine Knight's skills into elemental attacks (STR-based).
 - Changed the stat requirements for learning skills for some characters.
 - Removed enemy MT Lv3 techs' power change from all patches (including the
   bundle patches), and made it as an optional patch.
 - Other minor changes.

3.2 (Major)
 - Updated Stats patch to 1.8.
   - Switched Duran LL and LD's stats to make LL have higher AGI stat, and LD
     have higher SPI stat.
   - Switched Angela DL and DD's LCK caps.
   - All of Lise's final classes have higher STR cap.
 - Updated Equipments patch to 1.5.
   - Helmets raise DEF, and Accessories raise M.DEF.
 - Changed numerous Class Item's battle effects:
   - Lord's Proof -- Magic Shield
   - Gold Wolf Soul -- TransShape
 - Most of Duran's final classes' skills were rearranged.
 - Kevin's LL class learns TransShape instead of Aura Wave.
 - All of Angela's classes' skills were rearranged for better balance.  See the
   Skills section for detail.
 - Carlie's L classes except LL do not learn Saint Saber.
 - Lise's LL class learns Grand Slam.
 - Lise's LD class learns Saint Saber.
 - Lise's D classes learn Air Blast instead of Evil Gate.
 - Specter, Ghost, and Gorva are now also Undead type, to make Turn Undead more
   useful.
 - Energy Ball costs less MP.
 - TransShape costs less MP.
 - Freya costs more MP, but has higher power.
 - Demon Breath lowers ATK and ACC.
 - Changed back Double Spell's target to default.
 - Changed the stat requirements for learning skills for some characters.

3.1 (Major)
 - Updated Stats patch to 1.7.
   - Changed Hawk's stats (LL and LD) so that LL has higher STR.
 - Updated Equipments patch to 1.4.
   - Changed the prices of the final helmets/accessories.
 - Removed Aura Wave Reduction.
 - Changed some skill's menu icon colors to match the animations.
 - Increased AntiMagic and Detect's MP Cost, but decreased their cast time.
 - Changed the power and MP Cost of Hawk's flying item skills and/or traps.
 - Increased Flame Breath's power (does INT damage) and MP Cost.
 - Changed back Pressure Point's target and cast time to default.
 - Changed the power and/or effects of some enemy skills.
 - Bad Luck Dye does Mr. Death God instead of MT Rock Fall.
 - Duran's DL class does not learn Protect Down.
 - Kevin's DL class learns Half Vanish instead of Lunatic.

   v1.9).

 - Fixed minor compatibility issues.

2.8
 - Updated Stats patch to 1.5.
 - Changed back No Skill Counter to what it used to be.
 - Changed back Magic Shield's cast time to default.
 - Decreased Body Change and Sleep Flower's cast time.
 - Increased Pressure Point's cast time.
 - Changed the power of some flying items for better balance -- no more Goblins
   and Porons doing ridiculous damage in the beginning of the game.
 - Changed back the Jutsus to use INT instead of AGI.
 - Changed back Cutter Missile's element back to Non-Elemental.
 - Lise's L classes learn Unicorn Head.
 - Other minor changes.

2.7
 - No Skill Counter was changed to be compatible with praetarius5018's bugfix
   patch.  The same condition still applies though -- depending on the patching
   order, there may be slight differences (ex: Equipment effects, Evade stats,
   and No Skill Counter if you use it).
 - Increased Heal Light's cast time.
 - Decreased Tinkle Rain's cast time.
 - Demon Breath lowers ACC, instead of ATK.

2.6
 - Made praetarius5018's "No Skill Counter" optional -- if you intend on
   combining this with his bugfix patch, then I STRONGLY suggest you to read the
   section about "No Skill Counter" in the document, as different applying
   methods have different effects.
 - Removed the edit to critical hit rate (so it's now back to default).
 - Kevin's LD class learns Protect Up.
 - Other minor changes.

2.5
 - Increased Magic Shield's MP cost.
 - Cutter Missile does Earth-Elemental damage.
 - Increased the powers of Demon Breath, Lise's summons, Double Spell, and
   Black Rain.
 - Pressure Point can target one ally.
 - Changed the effects of some enemy skills.
 - Bad Luck Dye does MT Rock Fall instead of MT Land Mine.
 - Hawk's L classes learn Cutter Missile instead of Crescent (and consequently,
   LD learns Crescent instead of Cutter Missile).
 - Lise's LD class learns Axe Bomber instead of Cutter Missile.
 - Lise's DL class learns MT Evil Gate.

 - Fixed Mr. Death God error from the previous versions.
 - Hawk's D classes learn Fire Jutsu a bit sooner.

 - Updated Stats patch to 1.4.

 - Reapplied praetarius5018's "No Skill Counter".
 - Changed some skill's menu icon colors to match the animations.
 - Corrected AntiMagic, TransShape, and Counter Magic's elements (to prevent
   learning these skills if you don't have certain elements).
 - Increased Poison Bubble's power and MP cost.
 - Decreased Rainbow Dust and Ancient's MP cost.
 - Aura Wave increases 7 tech bars, instead of 6.
 - Freya does not inflict Chibikko (and costs less MP).
 - Ghost restores to 144 HP instead of 333 HP.
 - Arrow and Spike skills do more damage.
 - Pressure Point increases ATK, M.ATK, and ACC (and costs more MP).

 - Updated Equipments patch to 1.1.  See below for the details.
 - Machine Golem and Ghoul skills are slightly stronger.
 - Kevin learns MT Sabers at the same stat as the earlier classes.
 - Hawk's L class learns Silver Dart and Cutter Missile slightly earlier.
 - Hawk's D class learns some Jutsus slightly earlier.
 - Carlie's LL class learns MT Holy Ball.
 - Carlie's D class learns Machine Golem, AntiMagic and Dark Saber slightly
   later.

2.1
 - Decreased Poison Bubble's power and MP cost, relative to the previous patch.
 - Decreased Poison Breath's MP cost.
 - Hawk's LD does not learn MT Body Change/Sleep Flower.

2.0
 - Divided Stats patch to Stats (1.3) and Equipments patches:
   - See below for the details regarding Equipments patch.
 - Made a bundle patch that includes all three patches.
 - Nighteye Dye casts ST Deadly Weapon instead of MT Thunder Jutsu.
 - Most flying items/skills do higher damage (more AGI dependent).
 - Changed the MP cost and/or cast time for some flying item skills.
 - Hawk's LD learns MT Rock Fall.
 - Carlie's LL does not learn MT Holy Ball.
 - Lise's DL does not learn MT Evil Gate, and DD does not learn MT Detect.
 - Rainbow Dust causes only TransShape (this seems better, since it takes less
   time to start the effect).
 - Numerous changes to Arrow, Spike, and Rock Fall (effect, MP cost, etc).

1.9
 - Updated Stats patch to 1.2
   - Fixed some errors that I missed earlier.
   - Original game made it so that Light classes always had weaker weapons and
     armors (Lighter the class, the weaker the equipments were).  This patch
     makes things so that the Dark classes have better weapons, while the Light
     classes have better defense equipments.
   - Buyable shields are significantly cheaper.  But they also have slightly
     less EVA than the non-buyable shields.
 - Made numerous monsters immune to some SEs (mostly Petrify SE to decrease its
   overpowerness -- it still works on most monsters though).
 - Changed numerous learning requirements, so that they are easier to learn.
 - Jutsus do slightly higher damage (but still lower than Shuriken).
 - Changed the stats of some boss-only skills.

1.8
 - Restored the main four Saber's original MP cost.
 - Increased Heal Light's cast time (thereby make healing items not obsolete).
 - Detect now does Flash animation (because the caster finishes the casting
   animation).  Same effect, and some classes can MT.
 - Changed numerous of Kevin's final class abilities.
 - Shell Hunter drops a lot more Money (still drops no Experience).
 - Stardust Herb uses Flash animation.

 - Changed numerous Class Item's battle effects:
   - Silver Wolf Soul -- MT Leaf Saber
